# The Rice Box

> The Rice Box is a multi-sensory American-Chinese restaurant in Houston, Texas with five locations. We serve contemporary interpretations of classic Chinese dishes made to order, with dine-in, takeout, delivery, and catering for 10 to 1,000 guests. Order online at order.riceboxed.com or through The Rice Box Interface mobile app (iOS and Android).

The Rice Box was founded in Houston and originally operated as food trucks before opening brick-and-mortar locations starting in 2017. All dishes are made to order and most can be modified to accommodate dietary restrictions including vegetarian, vegan (tofu or cauliflower substitutions), and allergen considerations. Menus vary by location. Delivery radius per location ranges between 3-5 miles. Orders are placed digitally through the online ordering system, not by phone.

Hours: Sunday-Thursday 11am-10pm, Friday-Saturday 11am-12am (Greenway Plaza: Monday-Friday 11am-2pm, closed weekends).

The Rice Box caters events for 10 to 1,000 guests in the Houston loop area.

- Under 50 guests: Individual customization per guest, 24-hour notice required, delivery fees apply.
- 50+ guests: Custom menu built to preferences and dietary needs, 48-hour notice required, 50% non-refundable deposit at booking, delivery fees apply. Menu can be adjusted up to 24 hours before delivery.
