Hailing from the Szechuan province, this dish style is garlicy, sweet, with just a hint of spice (but of course, we’re always happy to dial up the heat if that’s your thing). This is typically an eggplant dish, but feel free to order this flavor variant with Chicken, Beef or Tofu to add to the bounce of the wood ear mushrooms & bell peppers standard in the dish.
